Dear Valued Patients,
It has already been a week since we sent out an update in regards to the COVID-19 situation, our decision to keep everyone safe based on the review of the circumstances and the recommendations of our governing bodies.
As you may be aware, all non-essential/non-urgent care has been suspended/postponed per our College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia’s (CDSBC) recommendation.
As the situation is changing hourly, emergent and urgent care modalities have a so evolved to phone consultations in the last few days. We are working very hard to adjust to all the constant changes and reestablish communication with all of you, so we can attend to your needs if required and in a proactive manner. Your he p and understanding have also been highly appreciated.
If you have any appointments with us in the next 2 months, we encourage you to send us an email at info@deerwater.ca to confirm you are aware it is cancelled so we know you have also received this message.
At Deepwater, our mission is to help patients reach their optimal overall wellness through dentistry and this focus is a ways in place. Please contact us at 604-877-8584, if you have any concerns related to your health especially if you have an infection, trauma and/or acute pain.
Leave us a short message with your name, concern, number and time we can reach you. In order to manage calls and requests efficiently while leaving voicemail modality for the people who do not have the ability to communicate by email, we would like to ask you who have digital literacy to communicate with us by email.
For our Myobrace program patients, we will be in contact with you shortly this month to schedule e the remote myobrace training. We strongly recommend the training not to be compromised/delayed, as possible e relapse of abnormal activity will happen if not seen by a myofunctional trainer regularly especially for the combined orthodontic cases.
For our orthodontic patients enrolled in the myofunctional training program, this is a great time to get ahead in your progress.
For patients who need emergent/urgent care, please call us so we can advise you properly. Our infection control protocols s are always in place to ensure the safety of your appointment and our team members. We are making continued efforts to be equipped for your care during this time Of shortage.
Stay healthy with optimum immunity and don’t forget to practice social distancing to keep yourself and the community safe. We hope you are finding peace and all the provisions you need during this pandemic.
